It’s been a while since our last update, but so much has been happening behind the scenes at Tavish & Bishop Timepieces.

From experimenting with titanium, brass, stainless steel, and aluminum dials, to fine-tuning every cut and engraving, the journey has been equal parts challenging and exciting.

The big news?
We now have a direct account with Sellita, one of Switzerland’s leading movement manufacturers. Our first order of Swiss movements is already in production — which means every Tavish & Bishop watch will carry verifiable Swiss traceability, straight from the source.

We’ll be offering two movement grades:
• D1 — clean and functional, with a straightforward Swiss finish.
• D3 — refined decoration, with Geneva stripes, circular graining, and elevated detailing.

Both deliver Swiss precision — the difference comes down to how much artistry you want to admire through the caseback.

Final assembly of our Sellita movements is still a few weeks away, but in the meantime we’re keeping busy. From concept to prototypes, we’re now getting down to the details: hand clearance, lume (or not to lume), dial finishes, and everything in between.

Every choice matters. Every step brings us closer. And we can’t wait to share the finished collection with you.

Prototype dials for our Dame L’Atelier collection are coming along beautifully — now featuring The Flower of Slighe Eile, a poetic symbol of strength and the path less taken.

For the gentlemen, meet the Divergent Ti-21: a triple-titanium concept watch in active development — titanium dial, titanium case, titanium bracelet — with customization options in the works. We’re even working to source titanium hands, despite their devilish difficulty to polish after heat-bluing.

Both collections are in prototype and rendering stages, and we’re already in talks with Swiss movement suppliers to ensure exceptional quality and craftsmanship.

These watches aren’t made just for us — they’re made for you.

From hand sketches to CAD, Fusion 360, G-code, Candle, Firefly, Illustrator, and hours of prototyping in both plastic and metal — every step matters.

We’d be foolish not to use the incredible tools available to us. When you’re clocking 10–12 hour days, smart choices keep the passion alive and the quality high.

And yes — some parts are sourced (of course). Others are handmade — including our dials, dial painting, early work on our own watch hands, and more to come. Movements are customized. Cases will be too.

This isn’t a shortcut — it’s dedication.
